Sustainability at Harvard

Community

Things you can do

Harvard and the residents of Greater Boston are part of one community. We are proud to provide the following resources to our neighbors.

  • Would you like to bring some of Harvard's sustainability practices to your home or office? The Green Office resource is a great way to make your work and living spaces more environmentally-friendly.
  • We also encourage everyone to read stories from "Sustainability at Harvard" and try replicating them in homes and organizations.
  • Check out the Harvard University Center for the Environment (HUCE) calendar of events. They are open to the public, and you can sign up to get regular updates.
  • Take a course on sustainability. The Extension School offers two courses. Other related courses can be found in the Harvard Environmental Course Guide.
  • Are you a community partner? Let us know what you've done to take action. We'd love to share your story with the rest of the University!
