FAS GHG EMISSIONS
Page last updated: May 2008
In the fall of 2006, 88% of Harvard undergraduates voted to ask FAS administration to commit to reduce GHG emissions by 11% below 1990 levels by 2020 (read their report here). FAS has formed a GHG reduction steering committee to develop this commitment. HGCI will continue to work closely with FAS to encourage this commitment, the first of its kind at Harvard. In FY07, GHG emissions from FAS leveled off, which is hopefully a sign of things to come.
