Restore: Pilot Program Finds New Homes for Used PCs
Two years ago, Victoria Trejo had never turned on a computer. Now, she not only creates Powerpoint presentations for her intensive English class at the Extension School – but she does it on her own home computer, which she received free from Harvard through the ReStore program, a pilot initiative that may change how Harvard treats PCs it would normally discard.
