Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for the redesign work related to HGCI website, http://www.greencampus.harvard.edu. and maintenance of related sites such as http://www.greencampus.harvard.edu/theresource/. Uploading and updating site content. Research, as needed, on products and services Design of and updating site navigation and user interface. Design and development for special web project requests Collaboration with and training of non-technical contributors. Server side maintenance and organizing. Makes recommendations regarding information architecture and ensures adherence to IA as features are added This is a 12-month position. UOS requires pre-employment drug, reference and background screening

Required Education, Experience and Skills

Computer software & hardware knowledge and proficiency, including: PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Dreamweaver, Relational Databases, MS Office, FTP Clients, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator. XML, XSL preferred. Content management experience desired. Web development and graphics training and experience. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, work independently and in collaboration with team members. Needed skills include: strong analytical and technical skills, solid communication skills, creative, innovative thinker, action-oriented, versatile, ability to adapt in dynamic environment, resourceful and honest.
