There are six partners provide the core foundation for REP.  Representatives from each of these main partners sit on our REP Steering Group.

Faculty of Arts and Sciences logoFAS Office of Physical Resources

The Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS) Office of Physical Resources oversees the maintenance of all FAS buildings, including building development, renovations, and daily operations, including steam, water, and electricity usage.

Harvard Recycling & Waste Management, the department which provides recycling and trash service to Cambridge 's campus, has set the goal of "50% Recycled by 2005".

The Harvard Green Campus Initiative is a university-wide collaborative effort between faculty, administrators, staff and students with the goals of reducing the environmental impacts of campus operations and promoting environmental sustainability.

CERP logoFAS Computer Energy Reduction Program

The Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS) Computer Energy Reduction Program (CERP) was founded in the summer of 2001 to realize the greenhouse gas, energy, and monetary savings that would result from more efficient computer use and has the goal of reducing computer energy use by $200,000 and CO 2 emissions by 1300 metric tons per year.

The oldest collegiate foodservice in America , Harvard University Dining Services is a self-sustaining department which runs the 13 undergraduate dining halls and several campus restaurants, serving an average of 25,000 meals a day during the academic year.

EAC logoHarvard Environmental Action Committee

The Environmental Action Committee (EAC) is the undergraduate environmental umbrella organization and has a long history of campus greening at Harvard, including its involvement in the birth of REP.
